Here's
a little bit of information on who we are and where we meet. St Paul's
is a Church of England congregation that has been around since 1854. Quite
a lot has changed since the original Church was knocked down in Gom's
mill and the current building completed on the new site during the second
world war.
Our purpose remains the same, to reach out to our local community with
the incredible, life changing, love of God. We take seriously our commitment
to the activities that you'd expect from the Church of England, which
includes conducting Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms in abundance! but
thats' just the tip of the iceberg. The message of the good news may be
an old one but we're looking to apply it to our modern culture & society.
Our services reflect this with modern music and instruments, bible teaching
that is clear and relevant and an outlook that with God in our lives we
have something to celebrate. There's lots going on and we have input into
our local schools, residents associations, senior citizens club, parents
and toddlers group, AA meetings, and a Wednesday daytime cafe.
